the open field is an arid piece of wasteland that has many pock-marked craters, and a small, brown stream down the middle. the only pieces of cover are 2 river banks and the ruins of an old chapel.

clex stationed three defense troops here, along with a flame-tank. he ordered them to fire on any creature that came to close. friendly mammal or not. they were currently stationed in the ruined church, and the flamertank was near the river bank.

As Mada walked onto the open plain, he noticed the flame tank and jumped down into a crater, contemplating on how to take it down, he saw a church he could go into to have an advantage, mostly to jump onto it to take out the drivers and any other soldiers inside of it. He made a mad dash to the church, his bow out and drawn.

the troopers were standing amidst the broken chairs when the mammal landed through one of the window. they fired their automatic, frag bullets into him.

As he came under fire his bow got shot out of his hand and another bullet went past him. He dived under cover and saw a few pieces of mirrors across from him. He picked up a piece and threw it behind them, jumped into another piece and came out behind the first one, stabbed him with his swords, took the reptile's gun and fired its clip into the other soldier.

outside the church, in a field far away, clex's army marched towards the castle. they were 2,000 in number, and were determined to reach the castle.

((A regiment consists of 10 000 men on average, and that's why we only have 2. one small barrage = 5 000 dead?))
The remaining half dug into their fox holes, moral dangerously low. They returned fire with their batteries and ordered immediate sorties against enemy artillery.

the fire ripped into our artillery, blowing up some of the crab-walker. the troops erected some cover and began the volley of grenades and assault rifle fire. a 30 ambers were blown to bits or shot up, and 20 cephalagods met similar fates.

The airstrikes were en route now, they targeted armor, and artillery. Then, if they had not spent their ammunition, they would hit the infantry.

the 3 planes flew by. their air strike consumed the artillery, and killed many cephalogods. one plane was shot down, and landed way behind enemy lines. the cephalogods were now in retreat, returning to their base.
